FAQ

01. When to book your newborn session?

The best time for clients to reach out is during their second or early third trimester (around 12–20 weeks). Since I only take a limited number of newborns per month to stay flexible, booking early is key.

02. What is the best time to bring baby in?

For my Hybrid Style (Posed  + Lifestyle), the ideal window is 5 to 15 days old. Of course you are not limited to this window, but this helps ensure baby is sleeping for majority of your session.

03. What if I miss the "newborn" window?

I can reassure you that "older newborns" (3–6 weeks) are also beautiful to photograph. They might be more alert and making eye contact, which adds a different kind of "magic" to the lifestyle portion of the gallery.

04. When is the best time for Maternity photos?

I suggest booking your session during your second trimester to ensure a spot on my calendar. To capture that perfect, timeless glow, I recommend scheduling your maternity session between 28 and 34 weeks.

If you are further along than 34 weeks, don't worry! If you’re feeling up for it, I’m your girl—get in touch and we will make some magic happen.

05. What are Milestone Sessions?

Milestone sessions are short, focused shoots designed to capture your baby’s emerging personality at key developmental stages.

3–4 Months: Pushing up, tummy time, and those first real smiles.

6–8 Months (The Sitter): Sitting tall, full of giggles, and those delicious baby rolls.

12 Months: Celebrating the big ONE with timeless portraits of them standing, walking, and being their wonderful selves.

07. When to Book Your Cake Smash?

I recommend that you book the session at least 5 weeks before the party date. This ensures you will have your photos back in time and can use them for birthday party invitations, "One Year" posters, or to display at the party itself.
